Overview

As an apprentice within RDaSH you will gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain the tools needed to thrive. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification. Apprenticeships can help you develop the skills, knowledge and know-how to embark on a successful and fulfilling career within the health service. • Carry out assigned tasks involving direct patient care, in support of and under the supervision of a first level registered nurse.
• Care for the patient\'s physical and personal needs, ensuring a high standard of patient care is achieved.

Apprenticeship and Qualifications

RDaSH offers this post alongside the opportunity to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to the role, for applicants who do not already hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject.

Role Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 enthusiastic nursing assistants to join us on Sandpiper Ward, specialising in the care of working age adults experiencing mental health conditions. We provide 24 hour care within our purpose built assessment and therapy unit, working within a multidisciplinary approach that optimises each individual\'s recovery.
