Job description

We are seeking a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team at The Playhouse day nursery in Wollaton. Our nursery is a home from home environment following the Hygge approach and In the moment planning. The nursery is a family run setting and our team are a valued part of our family.

Hours: Full time 40 hours per week all year round Monday to Friday -Flexible shift patterns/rotas each week

Experience: 1 year in Childcare

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Our ideal candidate would;

• work well as a member of a team and are used to working within the policies and procedures expected within our nursery;
• must provide high standards of care and education as a Qualified Nursery practitioner;
• can work flexibly to meet the needs of the children;
• must communicate effectively and professionally;
• have a working knowledge of the EYFS, planning and assessment systems and take an active role ensuring the Safeguarding and Health and Safety of all the children and staff you work with;
• The successful candidate needs to have a relevant early years level 3 qualification or equivalent, with Early Years experience.
• Live within 30 mins travel of the nursery at least and provide own transport means.
