Job summary

A childcare recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse in Wolverhampton to support children's learning and development through play. You'll assist in delivering engaging activities and provide a nurturing environment for children aged 0-5. Ideal candidates are required to have a Level 3 Early Years qualification and a Paediatric First Aid certificate. Nursery Nurse – Wolverhampton

Are you passionate about nurturing young children and helping them take their first steps in education?

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join a warm and welcoming nursery setting in Wolverhampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with early years children and wants to make a genuine difference in their development. You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning through play, delivering engaging activities, and creating a caring, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Support the Nursery Manager and team in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Provide nurturing, one-to-one, and group care to children aged 0–5.
  • Assist in planning and leading creative, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and emotional security of all children.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements :
  • A Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent childcare qualification.
  • An in date Paediatric First Aid certificate.
  • A caring, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is desirable but not essential.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years education and wants to play an active part in helping children grow, learn, and succeed in their formative years.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and / or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
