About Us

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs – we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.

We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment – and we’re looking for people who share those values.

Meet Our Client A happy-go-lucky young male in his late teens. He’s a social butterfly who thrives on interacting with people, enjoys lots of cuddles and loves being out and about, enjoying trips in his adapted van with his care team. He also likes attending school, going swimming and especially loves shopping.

You'll support him to access the activities he enjoys, whilst delivering essential daily care, carrying out regular observations and always ensuring his comfort and safety. He is unable to mobilise independently and uses a wheelchair for mobility when accessing the community.

Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff. Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.

“This isn't just a job – it’s your opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.”

What You’ll Need

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have experience as a Nursery Nurse, with a strong passion for supporting children and young people.

We’re Looking For Individuals Who Are

  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Confident in working with children and young people in a hands-on care environment
  • Committed to learning new clinical skills and advancing their career in complex care

While clinical experience is not essential, you must be willing to undertake comprehensive training in areas such as:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilation management
  • Gastrostomy care (PEG feeding)
  • Personal care
  • Moving and handling

This is an ideal opportunity to take your childcare experience to the next level and make a lasting difference in the lives of children with complex needs.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay with enhancements for nights and weekends
  • Regular confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
  • Reward & recognition programme
  • Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support
  • Opportunity to grow within a values-led, national care provider

Our funded training, including clinical skills, comes at no cost to you, though attendance is unpaid.
