Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team and work alongside an established Senior Manager Team to ensure the highest standards of early years education and care. There will also be opportunities to work across our other All Orkids sites, supporting and developing multi-site leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Manager Team to drive quality and consistency across the setting.
  • Support multi-site initiatives and, where required, assist across other nurseries.
  • Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted, safeguarding, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, rotas, and room management.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider community.
  • Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and administrative duties.
  • Deliver and support high-quality teaching aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Childcare qualification (Level 5+ desirable).
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted inspections.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • A genuine passion for early years development and child-centred care.
  • Ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a team.
  • Willingness to support multi-site working when needed.
