The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the nursery. This includes ensuring high-quality care and education, compliance with EYFS and Ofsted standards, and the successful integration of the Montessori philosophy throughout the setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of early years educators and Montessori practitioners
  • Ensure the nursery consistently meets or exceeds regulatory and safeguarding standards
  • Promote and implement the Montessori philosophy in daily practice
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records and support with Ofsted inspections
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
About You
  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Montessori Diploma highly desirable)
  • Proven leadership experience in an early years or Montessori setting
  • Sound knowledge of EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Passionate about child-centred, Montessori learning
  • Confident, professional, and nurturing approach to management
