Nursery Assistant – Qualified

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Contract: Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day care and supervision of children aged 0-5.
  • Support the planning and delivery of creative and educational activities.
  • Work closely with the team to maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment.
  • Help monitor and record children's development and progress.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
  • Ensure all health and safety and safeguarding procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar nursery or early years setting (desirable).
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and early years frameworks (EYFS).
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
