Assistant Nursery Cook

• Part Time, 15 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

The first yurt-based outdoor nursery school, Farley Sparsholt really is a nursery like no other.

We are looking for passionate and ambitious Assistant Nursery Cook who will prepare nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals and be responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen.

About the job :

• Provide balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery and catering for children with specific dietary needs
• Instill Storal Values to Food and Hygiene and compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health ad Safety and within the guidelines of Ofsted
• Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
• Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation
• To be aware of COSHH and follow relevant guidelines
• To deputise for the Cook in all absences with the expectation of deputising full time when this is required

About you :
