To support the practice in the delivery of nursing services, working as part of the multidisciplinary team to complement existing workforce. This role will provide nursing support to the Practice Nurses and General Practitioners to ensure provision of holistic and person-centred care of the full range of nursing services to the entitled patient population.
This role will assist clinical staff across the practice in the provision of treatment, preventative care and health promotion. You will work as a member of the Nursing team, under the guidance of a Registered General Nurse, and must work at all times within your own competence and professional code of conduct as regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
You will be responsible for the care delivered, focusing on supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring of long-term conditions, health prevention and education advice and screening activities. You will work collaboratively to meet the needs of patients, ensuring the highest standards of care and supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.
