Overview

As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Records Lead, you'll be at the heart of supporting EDF's nuclear operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of fuel route works. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your technical expertise will directly contribute to the UK's energy security and sustainability.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the single point of contact for welding records
  • Liaise with site and assurance leads to ensure technical accuracy
  • Interface with completions teams regarding Construction Test Packs and End of Erection Status Reports
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely record delivery
  • Support the delivery of Lifetime Quality Records documentation
  • Onsite, full-time role based at Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater, Somerset, working 37 hours per week
Qualifications
  • Quality assurance or quality control background in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in piping (desirable)
  • Strong IT skills and experience with electronic document management systems
  • Experience in safety-critical industries such as nuclear or oil and gas
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • NDE Level 2 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station's vast network of rooms.
