Job summary

A leading logistics company in Bedford is seeking experienced Counterbalance/PPT FLT Drivers to join their team on a rotating night shift pattern. Responsibilities include loading/unloading goods and adhering to health and safety protocols. Candidates must hold a valid forklift license and have good warehouse experience. This position offers a varied role in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Must have valid in date accredited Counterbalance or PPT Fork lift licence.
• Previous warehouse experience desirable.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety and WMS software.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods using the Counterbalance/PPT Forklift Truck.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety protocol at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse management team to achieve order KPIs.
• Use in‑house WMS to update stock and order records.

Job description

Proactive are currently recruiting for experienced Counterbalance/PPT FLT Drivers to join their friendly team on a rotating shift pattern, this is a responsible and varied role and is a great opportunity to join this established company at their state‑of‑the art facility.

Responsibilities of the Counterbalance/PPT Forklift Operator

• Load and unload goods from containers or from Warehouse locations using the Counterbalance/PPT Forklift Truck
• Adhere to all Health and Safety protocol at all times
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse management team to achieve order KPIs
• Use in‑house WMS to update stock and order records as required.

Hours: Night shift 9pm-6am Monday to Friday
