Overview

Job Title: Yard Person with FLT Licence and Driving Licence

Location: Castleford, West Yorkshire, WF10 Contract Type: Long-Term Ongoing (Potential for Permanent Role) Working hours: 20.00 6.00 Mon - Fri with 60 min unpaid break Hourly Rate: GBP12.95 for hours worked between 20.00 - 22.00 GBP14.77 for hours worked between 22.00 - 06.00 OT - GBP15.12 after 45 hours Sat & Sun - GBP16.51

Manpower is currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Person / Shunter with a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (ideally double handler) and a Full UK Driving Licence to join our client's team in Castleford, West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stable, long-term work with the potential for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading & Unloading (60%): Safely and efficiently load/unload pallets from trucks.
• Yard & Shunting Duties: Maintain yard organisation and assist with shunting vehicles or trailers as required.
• Manual Handling & Warehouse Work: Support general warehouse operations and ensure smooth day-to-day running.
• Stock Movement: Operate a counterbalance forklift to move stock within the yard and warehouse.

Shift Pattern

• Monday - Friday
• Hours: 20.00 - 06.00
• Overtime: Available on additional shifts, with higher pay after 45 hours per week
