DX Warehouse Operatives

DX Warehouse Operatives are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient unloading and loading of freight from vehicles into and from the site. They will also support the delivery operation to ensure the correct freight is loaded to complete the delivery routes. Represent DX in a professional manner at all times.

Responsibilities include:

1. Following all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies, including the correct use of all PPE.
2. Adhering to all DX procedures and policies at all times.
3. Handling all freight with care and attention.
4. Accessing and egressing vehicles using the correct means.
5. Using the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving freight.
6. Ensuring all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the site.
7. Reporting all damages immediately to your line manager.
8. Ensuring all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork/scanner information.
9. Transporting, storing, and treating customer freight with safety and respect.
10. Maintaining the security of freight and company assets by reporting suspicious activity.
11. Keeping the warehouse tidy and reporting H&S issues immediately.
