Overview

Do you have experience ideally from the food manufacturing sector and enjoy working nights? My client is looking for a Nights Shift Supervisor to join their team at their manufacturing facility in North Yorkshire. Reporting to the Production Manager this is a permanent site based position offering competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Delivering the production plan in line with company procedures and standards.
• Supporting and coaching Area Leads and production teams to achieve daily output targets.
• Maintaining Health & Safety and GMP standards, ensuring compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
• Managing and reporting on key KPIs including yield, waste, labour, downtime, and cost of quality.
• Leading by example to foster a positive and engaging workplace culture.
• Supporting HR processes including training, development, and disciplinary procedures.
• Assisting with trials of new equipment and driving efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have some previous relevant experience in a similar role ideally from within the food manufacturing sector.
• You must have supervisory/management experience and a knowledge of health & safety standards and food safety systems.

Details

This role offers a competitive salary from £16.50ph and would be working 12-hour shifts Nights Monday - Thursday, 6.00pm - 6.00am (12-hour shifts). The business is commutable from Malton, York, Scarborough, Driffield and surrounding areas.
