Qualifications

• At least 2 years post qualifying experience in caring for patients/families needing palliative and end of life care.
• Competent in managing syringe drivers and other specialist equipment.
• Community experience.

Responsibilities

• To provide psychological, spiritual and emotional support to the patient and their family.
• To administer necessary medication as prescribed within St Davids medication policy.
• To report any changes in the patients condition to the appropriate St. Davids Clinical Nurse Specialist.
