Overview

Job Title: Food Production Operatives - NIGHT Shifts (Temporary/Ongoing)

Location: Ashington, West Sussex - YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT

Salary: £12.36 per hour

Shifts: 4-on / 4-off rotation, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Start Date: Immediate start available

We are recruiting Production Operatives to join our client based in Ashington on a Temp to Perm basis! The role is working 4-on-4-off for a Food Production Company.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and lining oven trays with care and accuracy
• Handling and transferring baking trays safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic working environment always
• Cutting and finishing baked products to exacting standards
• Applying hand-finishing techniques to ensure product quality and presentation
• Labelling and dating items correctly for dispatch
• Packaging goods securely to meet delivery requirements
• Reporting any machinery faults or safety concerns promptly to supervisors

Working Pattern

• 4-on / 4-off shift rotation
• Day shifts only: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Ongoing temporary assignment with potential for long-term opportunities

Qualifications

• Reliable transport is essential due to the location not being served by public transport
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or factory settings is beneficial but not essential
