  • Communicate promptly with on‑call Plant Operators and Regional Plant Manager to resolve issues
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs
  • Perform minor mechanical maintenance tasks
  • Operate the weighbridge and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare routine performance reports
  • Demonstrate flexibility in covering annual leave and absences of colleagues
  • Experienced in operational site work or broad maintenance
  • Familiar with computer‑based monitoring systems
  • Comfortable with lone working and night shifts
  • Knowledgeable about environmental and commercial issues impacting plant operations
  • Holder of a full UK driving licence
  • Skilled in operating telehandlers, tractors, or forklifts (training provided)

Rainbarrow Farm, Poundbury near Dorchester. This is an on‑site role involving lone working during night shifts.

This is a night based role working 48 hours per week working a shift pattern as agreed with the Regional Plant Manager (6pm to 6am) including weekends. There is also the requirement to provide holiday cover for your team when required.
