Job description

M4 Specialist are recruiting for a Night Manager who holds an in-date HGV 1 licence for our Client a distribution company based in Hemel Hempstead who are looking to expand their team.

This client operate 24 hours a day / 364 days a year.

Salary £40,000 which is negotiable depending on experience.

28 days holiday

Role Overview

As a Night Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing night time operations, ensuring smooth and efficient deliveries, and managing a team of drivers alongside going out on a delivery as and when required to do so.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 and 2 vehicles on a night shift.
• Supervise and coordinate the night driving team.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Optimize routes and schedules for efficiency.
• Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during the night.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 and 2 driving licenses with CPC & Tacho up to date.
• Proven experience in night driving and team management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Good knowledge of Southeast UK locations and routes.
