Overview

Health and Safety Officer

CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for a Health and safety Officer (E01 Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract, with possibility of extension.

  • Pay Rate - £16.45 per/hr
  • Location – DAERA, Health and Safety Coordination Branch
  • Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
  • Hours – 37 hours per week
Responsibilities
  • Providing H&S advice and guidance to staff and senior management.
  • Reviewing incidents, risk assessments etc
  • Obtaining equipment, training and PPE quotes.
  • Drafting intranet comms, drafting email advice, reviewing policies, carrying out H&S inspections / audits and attending site visits.
Essential Experience/Qualifications
  • The Nebosh General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
  • A full current driving licence enabling the licence holder to drive vehicles in Northern Ireland and access to a form of transport.

Applications will also be considered from applicants with relevant formal qualifications considered to be of an equivalent or higher standard to those stated.
