Overview

This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified nurse to join Elysium Healthcare, an established and stable company with over 8,000 employees. You will be enrolled in a 12-month Preceptorship Academy, receiving expert support, training, and supervision to help you apply your academic knowledge in real-life situations. You will work at Thornford Park, a combination of medium secure and low secure units, providing personalized assessment and treatment programs for males with mental illness, complex care needs, or personality disorders.

Responsibilities

As a newly qualified Registered Nurse, you will be automatically enrolled onto Elysium\'s Preceptorship Academy, where you will receive 12 months of expert support, training, and supervision to help you grow into a confident, autonomous professional. You will work 37.5 hours per week (12-hour shifts) at Thornford Park, helping people with mental health conditions through their recovery pathway. Your role will involve working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized assessment and treatment programs for service users, some of whom may have histories of offending or have failed in previous placements.

As a preceptee nurse, you’ll work 37.5 hours per week (12 hour shifts) at Thornford Park where you will help people with mental health conditions through their recovery pathway to lead as fulfilling and independent life as possible.

There is support from a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/complex care needs as well as those with personality disorders. Service users may have histories of offending and/or may have failed in previous placements.

Where you will be working

You will work at Thornford Park which is a combination of medium secure and low secure units and rehabilitation flats. The service provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering patients in their recovery and rehabilitation.

You will work alongside the multidisciplinary to provide personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/complex care needs as well as those with personality disorder. Service users may have histories of offending and/or may have failed in previous placements.
