Overview

New Business Property & Casualty Underwriter – Birmingham – Hybrid

Role/Team

In this role, you will be dealing with property and casualty policies across the SME / mid-market segment. The business has a diverse appetite so can write risks as either combined product or singular with premiums starting from 10k with no upper ceiling due to their corporate offering. You will be part of an overall team of 12 that has a mixture of experience so will have the opportunity to learn from your peers but also drive growth in this pocket of business they currently don’t see a lot of transaction. You will be supported by the wider group and Underwriting Managers that are based in Birmingham.

Required Skills/Experience

We are looking to speak to individuals who have experience within a similar role with an insurer or an MGA. We will look at individuals who have experience working on commercial combined or a singular policy with a particular bias towards property.
