About the role

  • You’ll spend your time speaking to potential customers over the telephone, generating new business sales.
  • Sharing your knowledge of our insurance products and providing interested customers with compelling reasons to buy.
  • Identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services.
  • It’s a fast-paced environment, so you’ll thrive on busy days, converting leads, upselling, and working towards targets.
  • This role is varied, as all our customers have individual needs requiring bespoke insurance policies tailored to their circumstances.

The full-time working hours are 37.5 hours per week. We need you to be available Monday to Friday, 9 am–6 pm. Typically, full-time hours involve working a 7.5-hour shift with an unpaid lunch break, plus one in three Saturdays from 9 am–1 pm (when working a Saturday, you’ll receive time off in lieu).

About you

It goes without saying that you will excel at helping customers by delivering exceptional service. Ideally, you will have experience working towards targets in a sales environment, but if not, we will consider your application if you have experience in a fast-paced environment focused on performance.

You will:

  • Be a strong communicator with the ability to adapt your style to each customer.
  • Enjoy working towards and exceeding performance targets and closing sales.
  • Be energetic and maintain a positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Understand customer needs effectively, demonstrating ownership, empathy, and resolution.
  • Possess strong verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt when needed.
  • Be self-motivated, driven, and resilient to meet and exceed performance targets.
