Network Security Analyst - Hybrid (Belfast)

Our client is seeking a Network Security Analyst to help protect critical data and strengthen their global security posture. You’ll join a growing, well-supported Information Security function that plays a central role in safeguarding the organisation and its clients.

About the role

You’ll support the operation and enhancement of network security tools, assist with firewall configuration, monitor for threats, and contribute to incident response. Working closely with IT, Cyber Defence, and Compliance teams, you’ll help ensure secure infrastructure and maintain strong governance and documentation.

Essential
  • Experience in network security, IT infrastructure, or information security
  • Strong knowledge of core network technologies (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPN)
  • Hands‑on experience with network monitoring and management tools
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Desirable
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity
  • Certifications such as CCNP or Azure Network Engineer Associate
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001
