Summary

The Neonatal Unit at Frimley Park is a Level 2 Neonatal Unit made up of 2 Intensive Care, 6 High Dependency and 8 Special Care cots. The unit cares for babies over 27 weeks gestation and stabilises any baby under that gestation, to be transferred to a tertiary hospital/NICU.

Our team aspires to provide high quality and evidenced based clinical, developmental and family integrated care in order to ensure the best outcomes for our babies and their families.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse who is passionate and enthusiastic about neonatal care to join our education team.

Responsibilities

This exciting opportunity for a Neonatal Practice Development Nurse on the Neonatal Unit will allow the applicant to facilitate learning and development of pre and post registration staff, developing student nurses, nursing associates, newly registered staff on preceptorship, and staff working through the QIS course. You will be working in collaboration with the Paediatric and Neonatal Education team to facilitate a high quality learning environment for our students, newly registered staff on preceptorship, and learners on the QIS course, delivering education specific to neonates within Frimley Health.
