A leading automotive company in the UK is looking for an NDT Technician to support their Quality and Manufacturing areas. You will inspect components using various NDT methods, create reports, and work closely with engineers to ensure quality. The ideal candidate will have an NDT Level 2 or 3 qualification and possess strong engineering skills. ALPINE RACING LIMITED
We are seeking a NDT Technician on our dayshift to contribute to our fast‑paced environment by supporting our Quality and Manufacturing areas.
You’ll be responsible for inspecting new and in‑service components using the correct NDT method for the Race team, Race support team, and any other projects requiring NDT inspection; meeting the required deadlines and ensuring on‑time delivery to the end user. The prompt creation of NDT reports will be required. You will need to effectively liaise with designers and engineers regarding non‑conformance, findings during inspection or report review stages, as well as working with management to improve department efficiency and capability.
We’re seeking an individual with a strong engineering background, able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to determine appropriate inspection levels and record conformance to specification. You should have excellent knowledge of NDT processes (UT, PT, MP, ET, RT) and hold an NDT Level 2 or 3 Qualification, PCN or EN4179 accreditation. We want a high‑performing individual who can remain focused and objective under pressure, work to strict deadlines with minimum supervision, communicate effectively, attend to detail, and thrive in collaborative teamwork.
