We are looking for a proactive and collaborative individual to coordinate Norfolk County Council’s contribution to the NatureCityNorwich Project. In this role, you will support the development and delivery of this ambitious initiative, working with officers throughout multiple local authorities to facilitate nature recovery in Norwich.
NatureCityNorwich is a multi-partnership initiative funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the Nature Towns and Cities programme. This ambitious partnership project brings together Norwich City Council, Norfolk County Council, South Norfolk District Council, Broadland District Council and Norfolk Wildlife Trust to protect and enhance Norwich’s natural heritage. The partnership aims to address nature gaps in the city and improve access to green and blue spaces to shape a more climate‑resilient, biodiverse, and inclusive city.

We want our people to be inspired and motivated to work well together, make the most of our workspaces, enjoy a healthy work‑life balance, and deliver excellent services to Norfolk and its people. Flexibility is built into the way we work, with hybrid working a key feature for many roles. Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
