Job description

Multi Skilled Engineer - Up to £45k + Pension + 22 Days Holiday - Rotational Day and Night shift options.

We are looking for a highly motivated Multi Skilled Engineer to join a well-established toughened glass manufacturer, established since 1996 and looking to expand their workforce. This role is based in Prescott and offers excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be fault finding, dealing with breakdowns and supporting production. On site machines include: Glass Edge working machines, Glass tempering furnaces, Glass lamination and drilling machines.

You’ll work both independently and within a team to ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This position is ideally suited to a Multi Skilled Engineer looking to take the next step in their career, with the potential to progress. You’ll bring technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive, hands‑on approach to every task.

Required Multi Skilled Engineer Experience:

• City and Guilds or NVQ Certification
• Knowledge of AC-DC drives and relays, contactors, sensors, pressure switches
• Knowledge of pneumatic devices
• Understanding of schematic drawings
• Knowledge of PLC controlled equipment
• Electrical bias
• Mechanical disassembly

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be expected to demonstrate sound health and safety practices, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the smooth delivery of projects on a day-to-day basis.
