A leading music education institution in the UK is seeking a Music Technician on a zero-hours contract to provide technical support for music facilities in Birmingham. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining equipment, delivering training, and ensuring safety compliance. Ideal candidates should have experience in backline operations and excellent communication skills. As a Music Technician, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support for our specialist music facilities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety and compliance of our equipment, setting up technical resources for lessons and events, delivering technical demonstrations, and providing specialised support to our vibrant community of students and staff.
We're particularly interested in hearing from you if you have expertise in drum tech and backline operations, including drum kit setup, tuning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
This is a Zero Hours contract with shifts available between 8:00am and 10:30pm, Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 5:30pm on a Saturday.
