Overview

Music Teacher – Daily supply, starting as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. Step Teachers are currently seeking Music Teachers in Islington and surrounding areas to support secondary schools with day-to-day cover across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging music lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school routines
  • Inspire students through practical and theoretical music activities
  • Manage behaviour effectively and ensure pupil safety
  • Leave feedback for the class teacher and complete marking where required
  • Support students in developing performance, composition and listening skills
Ideal Music Teacher
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
