A leading educational staffing agency is seeking a Music Teacher for flexible daily supply roles starting as soon as possible in Greater London. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess recent experience teaching music in secondary schools. Music Teacher – Daily supply, starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. Step Teachers are currently seeking Music Teachers in Islington and surrounding areas to support secondary schools with day-to-day cover across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Duties as Music Teacher
  • Deliver engaging music lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school routines
  • Inspire students through practical and theoretical music activities
  • Manage behaviour effectively and ensure pupil safety
  • Leave feedback for the class teacher and complete marking where required
  • Support students in developing performance, composition and listening skills
Ideal Music Teacher
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has recent experience teaching music in UK secondary schools
  • Is confident working with a range of musical styles and instruments
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Is flexible, reliable and enthusiastic about supply teaching
  • Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
