Job Title: Music Teacher

Location: Harrow

Start Date: January 2026

Salary Range: £160-£220 per day

About the role

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Harrow. The school provides high standards of education and has recently been awarded an Outstanding OFSTED rating. This largely populated school boasts fantastic sports facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote student engagement, helping their young people to flourish both academically and personally.

The Head Teacher is looking to take on a driven Music Teacher, on a Long-Term basis from January 2026 until the end of the academic year. The successful Music Teacher will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3, Key Stage 4 / KS4 and Key Stage 5 / KS5, including exam preparation for GCSEs and A-Levels. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach Music across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and prepare students for GCSEs and A-Levels.
• Work across the school’s schemes of learning to support student attainment.
• Contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment to promote academic and personal growth.
