Job summary

A leading manufacturing company near Eastbourne is seeking a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering Support team. The role involves reactive and preventive maintenance on automated machinery, with a focus on electrical fault finding. Candidates should possess a recognised Electrical qualification and experience in manufacturing. This position offers 40 hours per week with a focus on teamwork and communication skills. Training provided where required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial automation is critical.
• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive maintenance on automated production machinery.
• Conduct preventive maintenance routines.
• Participate in weekend call-out rota.
