A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced multiskilled fitter / assembler to join a leading manufacturing company who specialise in providing electrical solutions to various industries.

Job Description
  • Your core duties will be the fitting of various types of distribution and power units.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Maintain the highest level of workmanship standards and product quality ensuring products are produced and delivered OTIF to customers' requirements.
  • Check and complete all paperwork associated with the works order.
  • Perform area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems, shortages or equipment breakdown.
  • Use general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the fitting role.
  • Conduct quality inspection of colleague's output.
