About the Role

Revolve Collective, recruiting on behalf of local schools in the Walsall area, is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our network. This flexible opportunity offers competitive pay, dependent on experience, and can be full-time or part-time, with start dates available from September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and want to gain valuable classroom experience. Cover Supervisors play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent, ensuring students remain on task and engaged. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with strong behaviour management skills who wants to make a difference in education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay focused on set work.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Provide support and encouragement to help students complete their learning activities.
  • Report back to the appropriate teacher on student progress and any issues arising.
  • Contribute positively to the school environment, upholding safeguarding and well-being standards.
About You
  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students across KS3 and KS4.
  • A flexible, proactive, and professional approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
