Plumber / Multi-Skilled Operative
We’re looking for a skilled Plumber / Multi-Skilled Operative to join our Commercial Services team. In this role, you’ll carry out a variety of plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks across our properties and communal areas. You’ll play a key part in ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard, always putting customer satisfaction first.
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and other trade tasks to a multi-skilled level.
  • Ensure all work meets building regulations, best practice standards, and health & safety legislation.
  • Deliver jobs on time, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible.
  • Keep customers informed, providing a professional and friendly service.
  • Use smart devices to record job progress, materials used, and timesheets accurately.
  • Procure and manage materials, maintaining a well-stocked van to complete work efficiently.
  • Take part in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota when required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support other trades when needed.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment to a high standard.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent), or time-served experience.
  • Proven competency across multiple trades, ideally with plumbing as a core skill.
  • Previous experience delivering repairs and maintenance across residential properties.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.
