Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Multi-trade Operative (Carpenter) for a temporary to permanent role in Horndean, Hampshire. The ideal candidate should have experience in carpentry and plumbing, with NVQ level 2 or time-served competence in trade tasks. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality installations and working within a team. Overview

Multi-trade Operative (Carpenter) – Horndean, Hampshire – 37,425 per annum (12 weeks temp to perm)

Responsibilities

• Join our Planned team as a multi-skilled operative Carpenter, working around Hampshire, Horndean and surrounding areas.
• Deliver plumbing/carpentry installations, and be capable of additional types of work with your skill set.
• Work as part of a great team to carry out work and installations to properties in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring that all works are in accordance with good building maintenance practice.
• Carry out bathroom and wet room installations to our properties, ensuring that works are planned, programmed and completed to the satisfaction of our customers.
• Be an ambassador for the organisation with a can-do attitude to provide a high-quality, right-first-time service to customers.

Candidate requirements

• Competent to complete a wide variety of carpentry, plumbing and other trade tasks at multiskilled level.
• Demonstrable experience with carpentry and plumbing works across a variety of properties.
• Minimum NVQ level 2, or time-served experience in carpentry, masonry and/or plumbing with proven competency in non-core trades.
• Experience of working as part of a trade team delivering to tight timescales.
• Full driving licence (clean).
• Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
