A healthcare provider in Thatcham is seeking a Triage Co-ordinator/Senior Therapy Assistant. The successful candidate will work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care. Responsibilities include patient assessments and coordination of therapy services. Candidates should have an NVQ 4 or equivalent and experience working with older adults. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Triage Co‑ordinator / Senior Therapy Assistant role in a friendly and supportive team within the BHFT. The successful candidate will be working alongside an established multi‑disciplinary team consisting of senior specialist community physiotherapists, occupational therapists, therapy assistants and team administrators. As part of this role the post holder will be an integral member of the clinical support.
We are an integrated team supporting multiple pathways, including community reablement, falls and community physiotherapy. This is an exciting time to join BHFT as we develop services to work in an integrated way within the community in West Berkshire and across Berkshire West. The successful candidate will be required to develop skills in providing high‑quality, responsive services as an integral member of the team and will also work closely with social services and voluntary organisations for adults with a wide range of physical impairments and mental health conditions.
