Job description

Overview

Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in Huddersfield for a Multi Skilled Service Engineer.

Due to being a Client on-site role there is a large element of travelling and working away with this role mainly UK based but also a small amount overseas.

The Person

• Worked as a Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician / Multi skilled Engineer / Service Engineer
• Engineering Apprenticeship / Engineering qualifications / HND/HNC
• Qualifications in Testing, DOP, Particle counting, Airflows
• Working in Engineering Environment
• Must have a Driving license
• Role involves working away from home for periods of time, a van is issued for business use.

The Role

• Responsible for carrying out Client On-site servicing and testing of product range and ensuring compliance
• Maintain allocated test equipment, ensure calibration is current and certification is available for issue to clients.
• Work within the parameters of the department schedule and within the customers shutdown periods.
• Ensure that all sales prospects, enquiries, are professionally relayed back to the office for effective processing.
• Submit status/service reports in a timely manner.
• Actively promote the after sales growth through new Spares, Service and Up-grade enquires.
• Participate in other areas of the business for example relocations and up-grade work.
• Due to being a Client on-site role there is a large element of travelling and working away with this role mainly UK based but also a small amount overseas.
• The successful candidate needs to be able to work under their own discipline as well as report back to the larger team.

Servicing to mainly consist of the following:

• Airflow testing using velo-gids, pitot tubes, anemometer, manometers etc
• Calibration of pressure and velocity devices Pressure transmitters and switches.
• DOP testing - HEPA filter integrity testing.
• Particle testing
• Electrical fault finding

The salary will be between £38,000pa - £42,000pa.
