Purpose of the role

To play a key role within the manufacture of our sustainable fabrics. The role of a Multi-skilled Operative is crucial for ensuring that our fabric pieces are accurately and efficiently prepared for assembly, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the overall beauty of our products.

The day to day

To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements

Operation of griege room machines, tumbler, bagging and dry cleaner.

Ensuring Weft is kept straight whilst packaging the cloth for the next machine.

Pushing Carts from one area of the factory to another.

Ensuring stacking and storage is such that it keeps walkways and access points clear.

Following Procedures on Worksheets for different fabric Qualities.

Assisting in general preparation duties in the factory (MULTISKILLING)

Keeping the machine in a clean and safe condition.

Reporting any faults or inconsistencies to management.
