Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer vacancy has arisen within our fast-growing company based at our site in Louth, Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Engineering team.

LOCATION: Based at Louth with some travel to Skegness
SALARY: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)
JOB TYPE: Full-time

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday - rotating shifts - 6:00am - 2:30pm / 2.00pm - 10:30pm

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Are you a hands‑on problem solver with a passion for innovation and technical excellence? We are looking for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our operational performance.

As a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering high‑quality maintenance, fault‑finding, and engineering solutions across mechanical and electrical disciplines. This is a diverse role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to continuous improvement. Occasional travel between company sites is necessary, therefore a full driving licence is required.

Key Duties
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and infrastructure
  • Ensure all work is logged accurately in the maintenance management system (MMS)
  • Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
  • Work closely with operations and production teams to minimise downtime
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with company and industry standards
Essential
  • Time‑served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualifications e.g. NVQ Level 3, Level 4, HNC/HND
  • Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Flexible, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable
  • Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Mitsubishi PLC knowledge and experience
  • IOSH Managing safely qualification
  • Experience of steam generation
