Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Electrical fault-finding on panels and PLCs.
- Maintenance of robotics and other automated equipment.
- Diagnose and repair machinery faults to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement equipment improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all tasks.
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to optimise performance and efficiency.
- Participate in planned shutdowns and project work as required.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members when necessary.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Apprenticeship/education in Electrical Maintenance or Engineering.
- Ideally 18th edition wiring regulations.
- Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
