We are currently seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your skills will directly contribute to the performance and safety of critical equipment and building services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform fault finding and preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery.
  2. Provide electrical and mechanical expertise on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
  3. Work on three-phase systems (up to 440V), motors, gearboxes, valves, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  4. Use mobile devices and CAFM systems to manage and complete tasks.
  5. Liaise with site services to resolve building-related issues.
  6. Write and follow risk assessments and method statements.
  7. Supervise contractors and deputise for the Shift Leader when required.
  8. Be available for overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed.
Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

  1. Recognised or time-served apprenticeship.
  2. City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications (minimum 17th Edition).
  3. Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds standard.
  4. NVQ Level 2 in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines.
  5. Strong experience in manufacturing maintenance.
  6. Competence in fault finding, PLC diagnostics, and repair.
  7. Experience with 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters.
  8. Hydraulic and pneumatic systems expertise.
  9. Ability to write and understand permits, risk and method statements.

Desirable:

  1. Working at Height qualification.
  2. IPAF certification.
  3. AP qualifications.
  4. Experience in heavy engineering.
