A prominent NHS healthcare provider in Sidcup is seeking an enthusiastic Podiatrist for a Band 5 MSK role. Oxleas established a highly regarded musculoskeletal (MSK) service in partnership with King\'s College Hospital for Bexley ICB. We have taken this excellent work forward in a new alliance partnership working with the ICB and local secondary care providers. This is to continue to provide rapid triage, assessment and treatment for Bexley residents with MSK conditions and MSK rehabilitation needs, linking with other services to ensure the right treatment is delivered in the right place and time.
The service has previously won the Bexley CCG mystery shopper patient experience award for two years running, the Bexley Care team of the year in the annual Oxleas recognition awards in 2017/18, and the Bexley team of the Quarter award in 2021.
Bexley has developed a robust Band 5 MSK Podiatry training post to support new graduates or experienced community Podiatrists into an MSK career. We are looking for an enthusiastic Podiatrist who is looking for a path into Musculoskeletal care, with structured training and support available for the right candidate to grow into the role. You will work closely with a large team of Podiatrists, Podiatric Surgeons, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Psychologists to deliver gold standard care to people living with MSK foot and ankle pain.

We are looking for the right candidate to grow into this role, and previous staff have been successful at interview for more senior posts after completing the Band 5 MSK training role.
