Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a qualified Band 7 MRI Radiographer to join their MRI team. The successful candidate must have substantial experience in MRI imaging, strong leadership skills, and be able to train and mentor others. This role involves supervising staff, performing specialist scans, and ensuring patient care in a busy environment. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for this position, and candidates must be registered with HCPC.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in MRI imaging.
• NHS experience required.
• Ability to train and engage radiographers in MRI.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the effective and safe running of the MRI department.
• Perform a wide range of specialist MRI scans.
• Supervise band 6 radiographers and students.

Education

Post graduate cert or higher in MR Imaging

Current and up to date state registration through HCPC
