A leading aerospace company in Gloucester is hiring a Material Review Board (MRB) Engineer to support composite blade non-conformances. The ideal candidate should have experience with composite components in the aerospace industry and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include reviewing non-conformances, managing daily processes, and collaborating with various engineering functions. This position offers training and a flexible benefits plan.
Due to continued growth and success, we are now hiring for a permanent Material Review Board (MRB) Engineer to join our team of analysis engineers onsite at our cutting edge manufacturing site in Brockworth, Gloucestershire, with the focus being on supporting composite blade non-conformances. Reporting to the Engineering Analysis Manager you will ideally have good product knowledge specifically around the composite blade manufacturing process, salvage and repair schemes and have a good understanding on how defects can impact the structural integrity of the Blade.
Working under the guidance of experienced stress engineers the role of the you will review non-conformances and defects, compose dispositions and work towards concession signatory for Blade composite concessions. In addition, you'll be responsible for the daily management involved in processing Blades through MRB to ensure the daily throughput is achieved. This role would suit an engineer with experience of composite components within the aerospace industry. Knowledge and the ability to work towards signatory for composite concessions will form part of the development plan for this opportunity.
