A prestigious museum organization is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the management of complex collection access projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, stakeholder engagement, and proven experience with complex collections. Scope, plan, and schedule collection access, ensuring accountability during movement and storage.
Act as deputy for the Head of Movement and Storage in project meetings.
Manage operational delivery of collection access through the Collections Hub, van runs, and filming requests.
Lead and manage documentation, movement, and storage projects to improve policies, procedures, and systems.
Monitor and report on project progress, quality, and resource requirements.
Support tender processes by providing accurate data and liaising with stakeholders.
Supervise external contractors and ensure safe movement and storage of hazardous or licensed collections.
Line manage and coach staff to deliver efficient, compliant work.
