Mould Marshall – Labourer

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Camden Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.

We are looking for a Mould Marshall – Labourer. This role will be based at NW5 3AP.

Responsibilities

• Support the Local Authority’s response to damp and mould in council-owned properties by carrying out practical labouring duties, basic remedial works, inspections, and tenant support activities.
• Assist in the identification, monitoring, and treatment of damp and mould within council properties.
• Carry out basic remedial works such as:
  • Cleaning and treating mould-affected areas.
  • Preparing surfaces for repairs or redecoration.
  • Minor repairs (e.g. sealing, ventilation adjustments, clearing air vents).

Qualifications

• Experience in a labouring, property maintenance, or housing-related role.
• Driving Licence.
• Basic knowledge of damp, mould, and condensation issues (or willingness to be trained).
• Ability to carry out physical work and manual handling tasks.
