Job summary

A leading motorsport team in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electronics / Radio Technician to ensure flawless functionality of trackside electronics and communication systems. You will troubleshoot garage equipment, prepare radio systems, and support data hardware requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong fault-finding skills and a solid understanding of wiring and electronics in a high-pressure environment. This full-time role includes potential global travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics and communication systems within motorsport or a technical environment.
• Strong fault-finding capability — calm, methodical and accurate.
• Understanding of wiring, connectors, CAN systems, sensors and RF equipment.

Responsibilities

• Managing, maintaining and troubleshooting garage electronics, pitwall systems and equipment.
• Preparing, configuring and supporting all radio equipment for drivers, engineers and trackside team.
• Conducting rapid fault-finding when failures occur.

Skills

Experience in electronics and communication systems

Strong fault-finding capability

Understanding of wiring, connectors, CAN systems

Ability to support high-pressure turnarounds

Clear communication and strong teamwork
