Job summary

A maritime services corporation is looking for a skilled Motorman to join the crew of Balearia RoRo Passenger ferries. In this position, you will be responsible for supervising and maintaining engine equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Valid STCW certification and experience in a similar role is essential. The position is shipboard based, offering a unique challenge in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW 95 certification.
• Valid ASE A-III/5.
• Experience on vessels in an equivalent position.
• Physically and medically fit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine checks of machinery and tanks.
• Supervise and inspect machinery spaces during watch.
• Maintain diesel generators and main engines.
• Keep the engine room clean and safe.
