Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in a relevant Motor Vehicle subject.
• GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Strong knowledge of Motor Vehicle products, equipment and materials.
• Up-to-date understanding of Health & Safety in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing training, coaching and practical support to learners across Motor Vehicle programmes.
• Assessing students’ skills and progress against set criteria.
• Supervising learners during practical tasks, assessments, and exams.
• Maintaining, repairing and organising tools, equipment and workshop spaces.

Skills

Strong knowledge of Motor Vehicle products, equipment and materials

Excellent communication skills

Organisation and IT skills

Confidence working with young people

Ability to maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

Education

Level 2 qualification in a relevant Motor Vehicle subject

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths

Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle or related discipline (desirable)

Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET/PTLLS) (desirable)
